Memberships

Memberships are available for purchase for residents of Canaan and New Lebanon, NY only. This is strictly enforced, as membership eligibility is defined in our bylaws, as well as our lease with Berkshire Farm. Not to mention, the beach is not large enough to allow for exceptions.

Please note, eligibility is based on township residency, not school district. If the property you reside is on the property tax roll of Canaan or New Lebanon, you are eligible. (To check which municipality your home is in, you may use the Columbia County site here. You simply select "Click Here for Public Access" and follow the instructions. You do no need to create an account.)

Your beach membership can include any extended family members living at or visiting your listed residence, guests for the season, and caregivers. Learn more about memberships and then choose your membership package below.

Please consider adding a donation to your cart to help us offset the rising costs of payroll, insurance, and maintenance of our beautiful beach.

All memberships must be submitted online. If you have trouble with the online portal, please email adamspointbeach@gmail.com and we will call and assist you with registration. We will not be accepting mail-in memberships.
Our core membership starts at $165 and includes access for one (1) person to Adams Point Beach. Each additional family member or guest for the season is an additional $10/person.
Children 10 and under are FREE.
As a member, if you would like to bring additional guests (above the total number listed on your pass), you may do so for $5 per person/per day. These guest passes can be purchased with the lifeguards at the beach. Children 10 and under are always free.
Guests who purchase their beach membership before May 1 automatically receive a $10 discount. No need to enter a code.
Seniors receive a $10 discount off any membership. Use code JGX3MBK at checkout.
Veterans receive a $10 discount off any membership. Use code Z37BNZ1 at checkout.
Limit ONE discount per family.

Rentals: Treat your guests to time at Queechy Lake! Memberships are only available for rental properties in Canaan and New Lebanon.
After purchase, a confirmation email will be sent with a link to your pass that expires in 24 hours, so please check your email promptly.
Inns: For Inn memberships, please email adamspointbeach@gmail.com to purchases passes as the structure for inns is different than rental properties.
Just like memberships, day passes are also exclusively for Canaan and New Lebanon residents. Available Monday-Friday only, excluding holidays.
$15 pass for one day for one person. Children under 10 are free.
Day passes may be purchased with the lifeguards (cash or card).
Additionally, Canaan’s Town Hall offers a limited number of complimentary day passes for residents.

HOW TO SIGN UP:

Membership fee payments are now exclusively online. There are no more paper forms to fill out or checks to mail in.

1. Choose your Membership type below according to the number of people you want on your pass.
2. Add to cart.
3. Click the cart icon at the top of screen to begin checkout.
4. Fill out your membership details - YOU MUST INCLUDE THE NAMES YOU WANT AUTHORIZED TO USE YOUR MEMBERSHIP. If you are buying extra passes for guests yet to be named, only name those in your family. Note: Unnamed guests using the pass must accompany a named guest to the beach.
5. Sign the waiver.
6. Add your payment details at checkout—PayPal or credit card.
7. Get ready for a fun summer at the beach!
